Marijuana workers in Maryland will be put at the top of the list, together with health-care service providers, for getting the state’s very first wave of COVID-19 vaccinations.
That status even more verifies the “necessary” classification that marijuana companies and their employees gotten when the coronavirus pandemic started.
According to the Baltimore Service Journal, the Maryland Medical Marijuana Commission notified the more than 130 certified marijuana business throughout all sectors that their workers will be qualified for Stage 1A of the state’s tiered vaccine circulation strategy.
The state health department released instructions specifying that signed up workers at medical marijuana dispensaries, laboratories, growing websites and processing websites are “signed up healthcare service providers.”
