Marijuana Clients Have Actually Been Grumbling Ontario’s Pot Is ‘Too Dry’

More than 2 years after the legalization of marijuana in Canada, most of Ontarians taking in pot still purchase it from the prohibited market since they discover it provides much better quality, according to Ontario’s auditor general.

Bonnie Lysyk’s yearly report discovered that the underground market represent about 80 percent of marijuana sales in Ontario throughout 2019 and 2020.

Private investigators for the auditor found that quality, not rate, was the main reason marijuana customers selected the prohibited market over the Ontario Marijuana Shop (OCS), or personal pot stores running with a provincial license.
